Pt. Sanjay Rath will teach the class in the morning (9 am) and in the afternoon (2pm) the participants work on their own charts thereby imbibing the principles involved besides getting to know what’s good for them.

Sixteen Ascendants: 19 May 2011

Maharṣi Parāśara teaches the sixteen divisions of a Vedic sign, called ṣoḍaśa varga. These divisions reflect the sixteen ways in which our mind-intelligence equation works. The intelligent brain and mind interact in sixteen peculiar manner and are either in perfect harmony or counterproductive. We also learn about Ṣoḍaśī (sixteen form goddess) also called Tripura Sundarī (greatest beauty of the three worlds).

Learn the Vedic method of annual horoscopy, the principles that connect the years through the day and hour linkage, the annual progression of the Sun through the divisions etc. In the afternoon we decipher our annual chart for 2011-12. You will start using jyotiṣa in everyday life.
